Ensure you have the following game settings before starting:
Damage = Low
Round Count = Best 2 out of 3
These ensure you have enough time to get your special meter built and do not defeat the opponent first.
With Player 1, pick Storm.
With Player 2, pick Sentinel.
Select any map.
Build up the Special Meter with Storm.
Have Sentinel continuously jump.
Use Hailstorm while Sentinel is in the air.
If it does get you at least 50 hits then repeat the steps as needed.
