Round Count 1 (First to 1)
Get the first hit on every single round.
This means not just at the start of the fight - it must be after each time you knock the opponent down.
Make heavy use of Save States at the start of each round to ensure you can get the first hit (then make a Save State after the first hit).
Play on MANUAL/NORMAL setting and not AUTO.
This disables the auto-blocking system.
This is selected after picking your Character.
Connect with a Hyper X move at least half of the rounds.
Again, using Save States can help ensure your Hyper X moves land correctly.
Must win every round.

Character Specific:
Colossus - 3-Hit combo required.
Wolverine - 8-Hit combo required.
Psylocke, Omega Red, Sentinel - 10-Hit combo required.
Cyclops - 17-Hit combo required.
Spiral - 21-Hit combo required.
Storm - 25-Hit combo required.
Silver Samurai 28-Hit combo required.
Iceman - 50-Hit combo required.

you must get the required number of hits in a combo at least once inf the first five fights along the way. Using the Hyper X moves will greatly help with this, if not basically guarantee it.
Save States can help ensure your Hyper X combos land correctly.
