To get this trophy you will need to beat the Main Quest Bronze Locksmith in order to pick up the Smiley weapon and then kill the Slasher with it. The Smiley can be found down in the power room to the left of the throwing knife game.
The Slasher can be killed by his own weapon by going into Rave Vision using a pouch on a bonfire, running up to the Slasher in Rave Vision, and holding L2 to use the Smiley's melee attack against the Slasher. Doing this against him for a few seconds will take him out and get you the trophy.
